Fundada en el año 2000. La Line Dance Association creó en 2002 el primer "Hall of Fame Awards y en 2003 su programa de formación para Pro´s, y sus actividades técnicas para line dancers en general. En 2004 puso en marcha los concursos Honky Tonk Series y en 2007 la revista gratuita online toma forma.

On 2004 it launched the "Honky Tonk Series" fun contests and on 2007 the free online magazine takes shape.
